Ola Mike. As for esims. Is your phone from the US? We tried to purchase one for our spring trip to the states and our portuguese Samsung was not supported.
Hi TJ,
Yes, our phones are refurb iPhone XR’s. Both purchased from backmarket.com in 2021 before we moved. (I should try to become an affiliate for backmarket, since I’ve bought 4 phones, 3 iPads, an Apple watch, and a laptop from them in the past 5 years. Never had a problem with the quality of the refurbished products.) Were you trying to buy your esims through airalo.com? I don’t have any Android devices, but I see they advertise their app on the Google Play store.
i’ll have to look into it again but it seemed like non-US phones had less compatibility with esim in the USA … coming the other direction, seemed like there were less problems. i will bookmark back market dot com for the future. not currently in the market for new phones. bom fim de semana.
